just noticed these myself, let the good times roll! lol.

Played Canada -180, BC -145 and Quebec +130.

Canada is simply better than their opponents and have the hammer. Team is also coming off recent success and of course are defending champs. Cheap price imo.

PEI stunk it up this afternoon and will need a real turnaround to salvage their day. Don't see it happening against a solid Scott.

Quebec and Newfoundland are both non-contenders but Quebec has the hammer and I don't see much of a difference between the teams. Toss up.

Nothing stands out in tonight's draw.

Yukon has me shell shocked after they had a monumental meltdown this morning and are clearly two levels below Canada. Jones herself has been a bit shaky and I don't have the raw data to understand if laying this price is valuable. Lets just say I have a hard time picturing a Yukon victory.

Quebec looks ok to beat Ontario. I rate them a shade better and they have last rock. I suppose -130 ain't that bad. Ontario had a devasting loss last night against Colleen Jones failing on the simplist of draws to complete their collapse. However they did bounce back this morning taking out Saskatchewan. Still I don't have complete trust in Belisle in her first STOH yet.

Nova Scotia skip Colleen Jones now with two bad games in a row. Fluked out that win over Ontario last night then got beat this morning against Kelly Scott. With this line its Newfoundland or nothing. I prefer nothing.

Don't know what to make out of this one. Both veteran teams aren't playing well. Alberta surprised me losing this morning to Andrea Kelly. Just by looking at the numbers it appears King curled terribly and probably was the sole reason why they were edged. Manitoba skip also coming off a brutal game and a loss to Kelly. I have more confidence in Alberta but the price isn't exciting.

*Any ideas yourself MFan?

When Oly posts lines for tomorrow I'll post what I played.

2pm draw > Alberta -140 over PEI *POD*
-Alberta appears on their way to a nice victory of Manitoba and should have little problems with PEI who are struggling. Watched PEI today and they didn't impress me at all. Questionable strategy and flat out poor play. Better team with the hammer.

Small plays on Yukon/NWT +270 over NB and Canada +110 over Nova Scotia.

I'll chime in with my plays.

Playing all of these tomorrow:

930 draw:

Manitoba -115 vs Ontario 2 units

Harvey struggling out of the gate. This is a game she needs if she wants to be in playoff contention at the end of the week. These are the teams she needs to beat.Ontario skip showed her inexperience againt Colleen Jones. hoping more of the same.

2 pm draw Alberta -140 vs PEI. 1 unit

Alberta simply the better team.

7pm draw

Newfoundland +180 vs New Brunswick. 1 unit

The price a factor in this wager. Andrea Kelly and her rink have been impressive however I'm hoping for them to come back to the middle of the pack. No reason why Strong and her rink should be this large of an underdog against a first year rink at the STOH.

GL on your plays guys

5-1 for the tourny hitting a nice +270 dog today.

Nice group call on Alberta this afternoon, easy money with the rare shutout.

Just played a batch but they have moved all the lines accordingly, some value has been lost. I'd have to take it lighter on the adjusted lines. Fav plays are BC and Ontario.

Draw 12 > BC -160, Sas +110 and PEI +160
Draw 13 > Y/NWT +325 and Newfoundland +160
Draw 14 > Ontario +100 and Y/NWT +385

nice hit on the +270 dog Park. lot of value on their lines considering this Yukon/NWT team won 3-5 games last year if I'm not mistaken.

this is what I have for tomorrow. Got on these late. Lines must have came out earlier than previous nights.

draw 12

BC -180 vs Quebec 1unit
NF vs Sask -125 1 unit

gl tomorrow guys, seem to be sharing the main plays. Congrats on the sweep PH.

You're right about Y/NWT, went 4-7 last year. Team isn't as bad as the odds are suggesting. As a team their curling percentage is just below the average. Quebec certainly shouldn't be laying this massive price.

Coutts I do hope somebody keeps bringing out curling lines. I trust Olympic will continue at least for the Brier, wouldn't mind Pinny bringing out some as well with perhaps some totals and handicaps. Sounds like you will have a good read early on. I briefly remember catching some of the trials but I haven't really followed all the men's teams. I'll need help to start.

thanks ph. Damn PEI, can't score with the hammer in the final end.

Another consensus pick comes through easily with BC though.

Well first bad day in curling yesterday throwing in a 2-5. Can't win all the time.

Interesting in the afternoon draw coming up all the teams with last rock will be playing their first draw today while their opponents have all played this morning and it will be their last draw in the tournament. Also note they have moved the regular 2est starting time for the second draw to 1est.

I actually already liked Y/NWT +200 and Alberta +130 but now will throw in Ontario -160. Given up on PEI anyways. Nova Scotia is borderline as NB is playing right now in the first draw. If NB wins they'll have chances to get into a tiebreaker but if they lose it will be officially over for them. If they lose I'll play small on NS too.

well Manitoba gives up 3 in the 10th end to ruin my undefeated run. record sits at 7-1. Contemplating a play on Alberta and/or Quebec in the final draw.
Waiting for the lines to come out on those two games.
